Replacement Fenders
« on: February 18, 2009, 01:19:08 PM »
Came across this web site, just wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Could not find any other body parts for our cars with a search on there site.

Someone check this out.  What is this ?

http://www.speedycarparts.com/sku/Pontiac_Solstice_Mr-Gasket_Contact-Spring_2006_2008_G12928G.html

It's wrong.  Unless I'm mistaken, these are springs for distributors with mechanical timing advance.  Do ANY cars have distributors anymore?  When was the last time anyone saw a distributor that DIDN'T have vacuum advance instead of mechanical???

I can't find the Muncie 4 speed or Ford 9" for my car  :drive:

What is the piece called under the headlights that sits low to the ground?  I've hit something with mine and need to get it replaced/fixed whatever I can do.  Afraid to ask the dealer for a price on it.

Or maybe Norm is the guy to ask!  Is he on this forum?

What piece are you referring to ? The front bumper assembly? It can be repaired if it has a scratch in it I hit a piece of road debris and had to have mine repaired at a body shop scratches were kind of deep shop did a excellent repair.

I'm not sure what it's called but as you pull up to a curb stop, if you don't stop in time it's the piece that gets smashed.  I think it's separate from the bumper but I'll take a picture and post it for sure.

If you are talking about the "black flap" that hangs down it will need to be repaired or replaced as it helps pull air up into the radiator and if it is missing it will cause a over heating issue during warm weather or aggressive driving.

It's called the "Chin Spoiler".  Norm is currently setting up a supporting vendor for the forum
