Since October 2007 I have an Opel GT.
My dream was always to have a V8 in it.

Really awesome, but how did you get the car through the technical supervision society (TÜV) inspection.
These guys get a heart attack if the motor doesn't belong to the car.

You have to work with the TÜV guys.
There are amount of analysis necessary that you have to be generated.
Unfortunately, these reports are not cheap.
Also, of course, some safety measures are necessary, for example, better brakes.
Then the guys do not get heart attack.

Everytime I think about a SC for the 2.4 a V8 conversion vid pops up and  I think oh hell no!

Do you mean the GT in general? Or the V8 GT?

The GT was unfortunately not sell well. We think it has something to do with that, it was sold as an Opel here.
Of course it is great afterwards, that it was built only 7,500 times. 
However, he draws more attention to itself than a Porsche! 

The V8 GT comes great. But many are afraid of the cost and effort.

I made the conversion fails for 1/4 mile race.
The conversion I did, because I'm a fan of V8 engines and wanted to have something individual.
The GT will not see any track.
Rather, the mountains and curves in South Tyrol (Italy).

Yes, I think it's great understatement to operate.
There is also no V8 sign on the GT.
It's just a surprise GT ...

you probably are the first one to have a v8 kappa there!  So congrats!

If I still have time and money later on in life.........I'll probably get a v8 as well.    Just set it, and forget about it................and you always have a monster all the time
