so not sure how they got cracked, but it didn't take much of any torque to finish them off... i need two door handles (specifically the part that the key goes through to unlock) just the plastic part.

eBay or Rockauto or similar.  You can get them in black or chrome for as little as $20 - maybe less.  Same as cobalt and many other GM cars.
