Have GM replace it under warranty, then remove it and sell it (good money) and use that money to do what Elff said.

Can't hurt to try. You might get a buyer here but members here are aware of other options. You might be able to move it on eBay or some other such site.

All depends I suppose how much you would be willing to part with it for. Anything will sell if the price is right.
