Is it necessary to remove the hood vents for paint job?
« on: August 15, 2014, 05:04:08 PM »
My hood had been vandalized at work a few month ago (wrote about that). :slap:
Now it's time for a paint job and I need to know if the vents need to be removed. :idk:
If yes, how do I remove the vents?

Does anyone have an idea?

If the repair is going to require painting the whole hood then I would remove the vents. Taping around them wouldn't do as nice a job. The following thread will help.
