Always the brides maid and never the bride.
« on: August 03, 2015, 01:18:48 PM »
Now I admit that I'd make a pretty funny looking bride's maid much less a bride I'm looking to step up my fame a little.

Was at a local car show this weekend, there were about 700 cars there and I won third place for convertibles. Now it's a real honour to win and that's now why I go to the shows in the first place but it's got me wondering what it would take to kick it up a notch. Thought I might start with a sign for the shows to put out front of the car.

Just trying to do my part...

Depends on the Judges and what they are looking for, but a sign is always good.

I have a First Place trophy from the 1 and only car show I ever entered and the part that is key is that it was for
"People Choice" for Best IMPORT
I figured Fawk It. If almost 300 people voted me #1 for the wrong category, I am taking it.

  Actually there were a lot of really nice convertibles. As the people bringing their cars in chose their own categories, I was up against some pretty tough competition like this sort of thing.
