Okay, so I've got a 2007 GXP. Not my first LNF rodeo, I've got the car making a good bit of power, the clutch starts slipping. Car has 120k almost, so I ordered a new stock clutch since you guys here say they hold up to power decently. Take the car apart, found out the dual mass flywheel was broke as well. Ordered a Fidanza because I've used them on all my other cars. Nothing in the description for the Fidanza says it doesn't fit a stock-style clutch. Went to put everything together and it doesn't fit at all.
Looking at the flywheels, you can clearly see the Fidanza has the friction surface an 1/8th inch higher than the stocker. I tried to put the clutch/pressure plate on anyways, the pressure plate travel/fingers are at their limit before you can even tighten the bolts.
I'll take pictures if you guys need them, but long story short is I'm just wondering what clutches work with a Fidanza flywheel before I waste any more money. Any help is greatly appreciated.
