You are correct, you don't need the brackets and they look much nicer without them.
I can help you install these. It's quite easy. I forget the size, but we will need a Torx head to remove the stock airbox and 10mm and maybe an 11mm rachet. Deep Sockets help with the T-Bolt clamps on the elbow. I think the stock clamps by the bumper are 8mm or a flat head screw driver.

OK, I think I've got everything I need to install the DDM a-pillar and gauges. I will need help removing the dash, as I'm still hunting for a good place to route things through the firewall. Can anyone help out with this?

Orange lines have been painted on the ground. When you get out of your car check the lines. This will allow cars to be able to come and go. There is plenty of parking. 7 cars in my driveway and one in the garage, JPM will be setup in the garage also. There will be canopy's out side. Bring a folding chair.

I have a spot to route the cables and we have the know how to remove the A-Pillar.

Awesome. I think I know a spot that will work, but I can't tell for sure without taking interior panels off.
