For those of you who need internet at the Mod Meet, the SSID is Joe's Garage, and the password is modmeet5.  This will be valid until Monday.

JPM and DDM Works are on the way...  I expect JPM to arrive around midnight and DDM around 2 am.  We should be able to get at least 4 hours work out of them before Goat cooks breakfast.

so i've changed my plans, i was able to get off work friday

i moved my hotel to friday night instead of saturday so i will be at joe's friday and saturday (instead of sat-sun) and will leave after the cruise sat afternoon

my DDM appointment saturday at noon will NOT change, and most importantly, i will still bring beer.

i just picked up my FIAMM high note horn, got my pepboys splash guards from fedex, my racing pedals, and my PAC-X steering wheel controls adaptor all ready to go.

that's over my head, maybe i'll lear the inside jokes this weekend.

i'm debating if i should leave at like 5 or 6am and hit rush hour in baltimore or like 9am after NJ rushhour, but with memorial day travel earlier might be better.

I'm leaving at 9am to avoid all of the rush hour traffic.
Even if it takes me 4 hrs, i'll arrive at 1pm on friday.

I know you will have a great time ... Dave and Randy are the best ... they haven't had much rest so far this year what with going to all the mod meets .... they probably dream of installing probeams ... backbones ... superchargers etc instead of something much more relaxing  :D .. I am enjoying my stage III .... the car just seems to want to take off .... and mine and Chemist's vehicles have been compared to jets taking off when we were running them at the Texas mod meet ... where Dave brought 1KULSOL up to +/- 130 before having to back her down .... I'm heading to the beach for the Memorial Day   :usa:   :us2: weekend but will have my laptop with me and look forward to hearing/seeing updates on the "happenings" at Joe's Garage ...

HAVE FUN

Mike

BTW - somewhere in these thread there was a request for me to bring materials to make buttress dewrinklers.  Well, good news - went to JoAnn's Fabrics yesterday and got enough to make 7 pairs based on the last request count - and BONUS - the nice lady gave me a 40% off coupon!  So that brings the price per pair down to $4 per pair with paint!  So, if you requested a pair - look for the grey Sky having the interior ripped out tomorrow and come claim your material - I will bring scissors, a template and the paint and you can get to work!

Apparently, Giant requirers 48 hour notice for sandwich platters, a deadline I did not meet. (I thought 24 hours would be enough.)

Also, I haven't heard squat about the chicken I ordered. :gaah:

If worst comes to worst, I'll get an assortment of sandwiches from Subway, or something.

I plan on showing up between 10 and 11 tomorrow morning. Only tools I think I'll need to borrow are a soldering iron, solder, pair of pliers and a pair of dikes. (I could bring these if needed, but I would rather not interfere with whatever my dad ends up doing tomorrow.)

The wife and I should be in around 10 tomorrow.  Bringing adult beverages. Getting my butts squared away is all that I plan on doing, other than just being in the way.
I'm very intelligent, but I mask it by doing stupid stuff.

Just left and got to the hotel,  Goat had his coil overs installed so did I.  I also changed out my charge pipes.  Joe and Dave are putting on a set of Lambos as I left.  Randy is installing a valley pan cover.  In between a couple of probeams and backbones went on.

JPM completely redid an interior and were putting it all back in as I left.  16-17 cars have shown up so far.

Just wanted to post up that  I got home without incident about 30 minutes ago.
Made really good time.

I want to thank Joe for hosting an amazing event.  Besides being a fantastic host, he is also a master of gadgets.
You have to get the tour of the house to appreciate that comment.
I had a blast and can't wait for the next one.

Thanks to Dave and Joe for hanging tough for an Almost 2 am finish on my Vertical Doors install.
I love these.
If anyone thinks the install price for these doors is high, you really need to see what's involved in installing them.
It's takes a decent amount of time to perfect the height and motion of the doors so that they line up  better than stock and are fluid in opening and closing. Since every kappa is slightly different [and don't necessarily line up perfectly from the factory] every install is a little different.  Taking the time to do it right well...takes time.
IMHO, it was well worth ever penny.

To everyone else
It was great meeting all of you.  Thanks for all the smiles and laughs that we shared this weekend.
For those of you who weren't able to make this.
I don't think you can find a better group of people.
