Topic: Changed wipers for the first time

Yeah the wipers on the car were the originals. Had the car for 9 years and with storage every winter and parking in the garage I still wouldn't have thought that I would get that many years out of it.

Driving in the rain the other day the RH side was streaking and when wiping the blade to clean it up the rubber was peeling.

Yeah found out that they do when I turned on the wipers.    Car doesn't see rain that often but it's definately seen a good rain more than a few times.

I still have the original ones on my car too but they need to be replaced badly. I'm afraid to go to dealership

They cost $20.47 if I remember correctly for each one. About on par with what other places charge but I wanted OEM wipers without all the clunky adapters you see on some wipers from the auto parts stores.

Piaa makes a perfect replacement. Other than the small piaa logo they look the same as stock and the silicon blades actually help your windshield repell water. I love mine.

I replace wipers ever year out here.
We don't get much rain.
We get a lot of sun.
Rubber does not like sun.
