I'm trying it again this year to establish members for my NMSS club. I plan on having road rallies throughout the year. If interested, please reply and I'll keep you on my list.

Let's see what we can put together. I punched a hole in my front bumper last week with a ball of scrap metal (I think - if I had time to really identify it, I would have had time to MISS it) on I-70 - so my car currently isn't the prettiest... but I'm still interested in getting together.

OK Guys - I've been out of pocket since I had some resent family matters to attend. I was planning on a road trip through the country back roads in mid August, Saturday with rain date Sunday. If I can get at least 4-5 to join, I'll set it up. So let me know if your interested and I'll make it happen. Enjoy

I'm in. FYI, Tour de Frederick is Saturday, the 12th. So that day is out since some of the good roads here will be lousy with fatasses who ride a bicycle once per year and consider themselves "athletes." I know because I'm one of 'em.

I tried for the "metric century" last year, and *almost* made it (56 of 62 miles before I called it quits). Problem is it was something like 104 degrees and I'm not so much the "avid cyclist" I used to be. This year I'm only doing the 30-miler - and I'll be happy if I can make that whole distance.

The distance does not matter as long as you enjoy it. I have been going for distance and still enjoy it.
