Norm, do you replicate the inner fender supports in fiberglass, or do your fenders only replace the outer metal skin?

Hello, the new functional fender mounts to the stock fender bracket though it can be modified such as this LS7 conversion with the sump tank. Also the fender weighs half of stock too seems to be plenty tough as in that roll over conversion. (Poor guy didn't make it) Thanks again Norm

Thanks, was actually just looking for a lightweight replacement for the bracket.

Wow - you mean he was killed? The passenger compartment looks pretty much untouched.

Yup, that's the backup plan! Just had them off to make some adjustments and was reminded how heavy they were!

I heard that he was ejected. Again this is what I heard.

I can see the seatbelt from that photo. Which means he probably wasn't belted in. For him to be ejected, and belted in, I think there would have to be intrusion into that corner...

These cars are designed to be belted in. Wear 'em folks. Saved me from injury when my voltage regulator caused that fishtail...

... And no, I still don't have my car back yet. Sigh.

No kidding!  I fit belts to all my old cars that don't require them by law and I wear them!  It should be an automatic thing when you get in the car before you start it. Have a hard time mustering sympathy for people that are injured just because they didn't bother to belt up (or bikers that refused to wear a helmet).
