To think it's 10 years since Pontiac has been gone.

10 years ago today Pontiac got the axe. t was a sad day for all of us and I might say one that I'll never get over.

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!

Time does fly... it's almost been 12 years since I bought the Sky... all good times though!

Yes and no. The announcement of the closure of Pontiac is the kick in the pants I needed to buy a Solstice coupe.  I had been waffling between the usual suspects, Camaro, Mustang, & classic cars, etc.

I just wish the brand had stuck around long enough to a legit 5th gen Trans Am...

and to think GM spent 250 MILLION developing the Solstice and then killed it in 4 short years!
