WTB: rear valence - GXP or NA
« on: March 05, 2009, 01:20:08 PM »
The NA valence I spent an entire weekend cutting out, prepping and painting is missing off my car so I'd like to find a cheap replacement for the time being.  Anyone in the mid-atlantic have a NA lying around?

Sounds like you didn't get fasten properly when you put it back on, or do you think it grew legs?

Might check with Joe's he has a bunch of parts laying around :)

Fresh out of rear valances.  Where is your stock one John, did you leave that in Buffalo?

it was on for months but since I removed the hard plastic under-brace for it too (to allow for air flow through my awesomely cut-out hexes) it did not have a whole lot of support.

It could be either way.  My neighborhood is decent but is right next to some very low income housing and I park on the street that's a walking path between them and the 24 hr 7-11 down the street. Two slashed tops and someone throwing a bucket of italian food are all i've had to deal with.  Good thing we can get new tops from Joe at Phoenix for so cheap... a $250 deductible and they actually paid for my last snowboarding trip to Breckenridge. Can't complain too much :)

I assume you guys are talking about Solo in Buffalo. Why not ask them to contact you if they get a Solstice rear valance that need to get rid of.  :idk:
Just trying to do my part...

Wait, i thought SOLO was Canadian.

Their shop is in Buffalo?  If i can find a NA valence for <50 that'll keep me happy for the time being.  I hate the stock muffler just hanging off the back.

mexcellent.  The NA fascia's are pretty much throw-aways so I'll see if I can find one for free first.  Wouldn't mind paying for a GXP fascia but the NA, new, is a complete rip-off.
