New old guy - '06 Solstice ZOK - SCCA Race car from mile 1!

New old Pontiac guy.  Hade Fiero's, still have a GT1 tube frame race car, and just sold a GT2 Huffaker clone.  So as retirement nears, had the opportunity to buy this car for the second time and was able to act.  This Solstice was bought new and built to race in SCCA SSB class, it has now moved to "T4".  Just under 10K racing miles and finally broke a rod (or bolt).  Will be installing a "freshened" motor and running events in the OH-MI-PA area primarily.

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!

Replacement motor is here - 57K mile take out from a '06 Sky that went V8.  Now to get the car picked up next weekend!

Hope all goes well with the swap Craig and that would be a 2007 Sky as there were no 06s.    :D

Correct, '06 engine. '07 Sky (11/06 production Sky) - but yes, correct motor for the good rods!
