SPRING
« on: March 21, 2009, 05:10:49 PM »
Today - I just had to take the Sly out for a 50 K. spin - we are scheduled to have a big dump of spring snow tonight so the window was narrow.
Can anyone blame me for wanting to get out n the road?

Now Sly is back under the cover in my garage and waiting for the snow to come and go again.

We have to take our moments when we can get them up here in the north.
Get it while the getting is good.....

I'm so jealous Miner!!!  We still have a ton of snow up north, and on the couple of days like today when it gets up to +2, it's a sloppy mess.  No way I could drive Raggie in that!!  Your car looks even better with the top down, nice pics!  Now batten down the hatches, we're supposed to get a good whippin' tonight.  Hopefully it melts as fast as it came lol

I haven't hooked the battery up on mine yet. Snow is all gone here as is the salt but still lots of sand on the road. In the next few days I will get the cover off and get her cleaned up. I want to do the turn signal mod and I have an appointment with Jeff who is coming down on the 31st of March to install my GXP-RCD exhaust at the Welland store just around the corner from here.  :yay:

Your car looks great Sly Nic and I love your rear end!

Snow is pretty much gone here but still too much salt and sand around for my liking. Aiming to get Precious out the first week of April!

Syl Bob, the ironic part of this latest snow storm is that it came UP from the US!!!  The Nerve!!!  A little revenge maybe for those Alberta Clippers we sent down there LOL.  The storm was last seen moving east through Saskatchewan, so keep your fingers crossed that it peters out before getting to Ontario.

Gorgeous to behold, sun-lit or otherwise.  Anyone with a heartbeat would be proud to come out of thau in a harsh winter, with that sweetheart sitting in the garage.  Here's a sincere wish that your Canadian winter is about to come to a close.  Thanks for giving us all the great shots Sly Nic from Calgary Alberta.

After numerous late winter happenings, I think Spring has finally arrived. Got "Precious" out of her winter blanket yesterday and had her serviced and took a great first run. Today was overcast and mid 40's but that's what heaters are for. Going to rain the next 3 days but supposed to be nice next weekend. Another season has arrived. :yay: :ca:
