Well, I just had JPM finish up the last few bits on my car. My interior has been totally done for quite some time, but there was that last pesky thing the Joe had not covered, the e brake! Well, now that is done.

Earlier this year, I had Joe cover the trunk lid, and did it look good!! But when I did that, the bottom of the trunk looked horrible in that grey crappy carpet, so I had Joe cover that too! it turned out great!

And last but not least, I finally goy my HID headlights with the LED running lights!!

That is freakin sick. I mean wicked sick. Woooooooooooooo - Dude dropped some coin on that baby! What are you using for carpeting in the trunk? Will you do the same in the cockpit? I am looking at the Porsche Silver carpeting to replace the stock crud...

Looks really good John. Wish I could have seen it at DDM but I had to fly to Salt Lake so I did not get the chance.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I did the cockpit awhile ago. As for carpet, call Joe at JPM, he did all my work and bought the carpet. Here is a pic,

They're actually brushed aluminum from autometer. The OEM guages were replaced. This is probably the nicest gauge setup I have seen in the solstice. Bringing the gauges towards the front instead of having them crammed back in the recess makes a huge difference.

Did the standard Autometer electric gauges mate to the Sol harness without too many issues?

Is there a "how to" on that mod someplace?

I'm interested in this as well. Although, old-fashioned mechanical guages might fix the problem I have...during WOT acceleration in first and second, I'll out accelerate the speedometer...

Well Ben, first you have to start with the V8 conversion, which the gauges will work with.

Then let's re-word things a little. What would it take to replace the OEM crap gauges with aftermarket ones? I just got done doing the a-pillar guages, hopefully tying the lighting system together won't be so complex...

I'm sure one of our vendors could come up with a gauge kit. I bought these, plus the wiring harness from Dave at Performance Autowerks. I'm sure he could design a kit for the standard Sols, however, you would lose the info center.

Also maybe try Dave at DDM. Dave and Randy are wiring guru's

Yes, I picked it up last friday. Thats part of the reason I said they are wiring Guru's. My car ran good before, but they found several wiring hiccups in the harness and I was getting several error codes. They took care of those, and gave it a safe tune. Then Super Dave took me for a ride and all I can say is WOW, I defiantly don't need anymore power!

One thing I forgot to post pics of is my new cold air set up. Dave did a custom dual intake setup! It turned out very nice and for sure sucks cooler air now.

Very nice John. That intake is way better than your old setup. I was just saying to alex before we left last week that you should do something with that K&N filter just jambed into the hoodline.

Yeah, that was just a temporary set up. I was always planning for something like this and Dave and Randy did a phenomenal job!

Riding with Dave will definately raise your addrenilan level for sure. He can drive these cars. I'm sure he showed you some of the things your car could do
