I have turned off quick reply because it does not offer all the functions I want but on the regular reply I see all these dancing emoticons, is there a way I can make them go away, I rarely use them.

I am all fro grumpy emoticons, especially a goat butting it's head against a wall. I have no problem with the emoticons, it is just if someone looks over my shoulder at work it looks a bit weird to see all the dancing emoticons. even if it was just the none animated ones and a more button that would help.

The last thing I want to see are negative Emoticons floating all over the screen! I believe the grumpy icon comment was intended to make fun of me, not an actual recommendation, and Joe was commenting that the emoticons effect everyone nothing about the grumpy ones.
