Topic: Help, no boost on the way home

I have had this happen twice.  First time I blew a coupler while on the Dyno and it was obvious.
The second time I lost all boost and visually, I could not see anything out of sorts.

I ended up loosening all of my T-bolt clamps and did a complete reinstall of both my Intercooler pipes and did a much better job of tightening everything down.
It solved the problem. 

I really think you have a leak somewhere that just isn't obvious and you should be able to resolve it yourself

I think it may be that Joe and I sent tunes to Lyndon to modify,  and two weeks ago we discovered a leak at one of the sensors. (Joe can post which one as I forgot).  So this was fixed however the car was tuned to the engine with the leak.  Now that the leak is fixed it may just be over boosting and going into limp mode.  I will capture a WOT run and send back to Lyndon and see what he thinks of this theory.  I have to admit on this car my theories are usually wrong so I will also check Elf's idea of redoing all the T clamps.

I will keep you all informed but that may also be why the tune is not released.

It goes into limp mode randomly and most of the time is just fine.  Turning the engine off for a couple of min always seems to work.

Not totally out of reality. The PT I know will drop a code at the hint of overboost.. If it was a major enough leak it could put you over the threshold of what the computer wants to see.
