Let me help clear things up a bit, BASIC is a computer language, what Lyndon meant was that very few of the changes can be seen in the GUI HP Tuners interface. He had to break it down to BASIC to see them. This is hexadecimal machine code. I seriously doubt there is another tuner anywhere who could do that.

HA HA there are none that could do what he does.  He is insane.  That is precisely what he meant by BASIC.  The changes are tremendous, but he is trying to figure it all out as we speak.  Thanks goodness he has a Solstice.

I gotta give Westers props.. I am a PLC Guy.. Industrial Programable logic control.. so when I see that 1400 bits are non comforming to the tune I figure that is an awful amount of words..the thing is in industry this would be GE or Allan Bradley problem with  a ton of support.. here ..it's a proprietary Auto manufacturers code.. not something your going to Google to find answers,, Good luck..on your quest

I guess not everyone knows, way back in 1995 GM introduced the new Corvette with EFI and this new thing called OBD II. The ECM used a totally new software platform to control all the engine functions. No one had every seen anything like it before in engine management. (any of this sounding familiar ) Guess who the first one to crack it was? We are in very good hands.

When Lind Cadillac wanted to try and crack 200 mph in a stock 2009 CTS, with nothing but a modified tune who did they call, it wasn't Ghost Busters. They hit 192 mph on the Salt Flats before weather set in and stopped testing, car was stock except for a Wester's tune AND HE TUNED IT BY EMAIL!

No, 1400 byte changes, the code is way more than 1400 bytes.

I ran the stock tune with the new sensors for about 200 miles.  At first it drove fine, after about 100 miles, it got twitchy and would kind of surge at low loads like going up a slight incline.

I've got the GM2 installed now and am going to split the tables between GM2 for low loads and Westers for high loads. But the weather is too bad to really test it here in Ohio

Guess I'll have to talk to Lyndon. I used to play with Basic over 20 years ago in the AF. We actually programmed in 18 bit, instead of the normal 16 bit, for security reasons. Talk about being up to your ears in 1s and 0s.  :banghead:
