Did you cut a pleat in the MLV at the corner to get it to fit?

I did not take the side panel off but was able to slide the dead pedal beneath it. I did not have problems with the post being too short - do you only have 2 layers of foam plus the carpet there? No tiles? If things are that thick also check gas pedal clearance.

I just referred someone to this thread but I notice I can't see DBG's photos on pg.4 (posts 73 & 74).  Is it just me or did they get corrupted?  Joe?

Not the kits, they're only available at the meets. The products listed to make your own that are listed in the first post of this thread are. It's easiest to just e-mail me:
don@sounddeadenershowdown.com
if you're interested.

The kits are still only rough-cut squares anyway.  You still need to trim the pieces to size and shape yourself.

Really good point. "Kits" is probably the wrong word ;)

Yes kit is definately the wrong word, huge pain in the AZ comes to mind, but worth every bit of the pain.

From this thread? Don't know. It happened once before. I'm redoing my Web site and am about to post some project pages. Looks like this needs to take some priority.

I went back to your original posts and looked at the links to your photos.  I copied them out to a separate tab and url and was presented with 404 error

Weight aside, many people have been more than happy with the kit and the improvement it makes to the Kappas.
Just trying to do my part...

Can't imagine the car without it! (particularly given that I went with a fairly aggressive exhaust!)

I doubt that it's quite that much.  I'd say more like 50-70 lbs.
