Topic: My new coin holder location

I did a search and didn't find a thread for this topic.  I picked this up at a Meijer store and it has been sitting in the garage for months.  Original design is for cup holder placement.  I finally decided to give it a shot.  First try with no stock pieces in place was too lose, then I took the vent fin assembly out of the stock tube and reconnected the chrome ring back on the tube.  The fit is tight but slid right down onto the chrome ring with enough pressure.  It also was an aggressive push to get the retaining clips back through the dash hole because they do not cave in as much due to the smooth sides of the holder but once I got one tab past the lip it went in.  I may never get it out again without grinding the clips off, but it is a cheap part if I ever decide to put it back to stock.  I think someone on here or another Kappa forum placed something in this location also but I can't remember and it didn't show up in the search.
