They are all nice but my preference would be the Rear Center Duals with Norm's Diffuser. I wonder how it will look in Deep...  :D

You were right though when you said that the Center Stacked Duals looked like a piece of art.

That's a great choice...that's why I posted the pictures...people can see what they look like on the car...and your Deep Solstice would probably look really close to the Mysterious.

I agree Bob, really like the RCD's with the diffuser. I was hoping Solo would have some holiday specials but no joy....

Why don't you give them a call.  Ask Jeff, because sometimes they do have specials.  I am not sure at the moment, but it can't hurt to ask.

I might do that. Eyeing that RPI GT exhaust on special right now for $650.00.  The RCD with the diffuser and paint would currently be double that. Ouch  :(

Wanted to push this back up for more pics...

Anyone have any pictures of a Brazen Solstice with Norms rear diffuser either center or outside duals?

I think I prefer the side by side centre exit to the over and under.  Of course you could have just one large exit tube for that Porsche Boxer lookalike contest....

The best and simplest would be a combination of a single pipe all the way back to a small muffler like the one used in the centre exit system, with a single exit pipe, perhaps on one side, but I know that would mean people giving up on pretending they have a V8 in there, so duals are de rigeur.....

Hey, wouldn't the Center Stacked Duals make the Solstice more exotic? :)

Does anyone else that has the RCD exhaust have a problem with the exhaust hitting the Diffuser?

You need to loosen your clamps, reposition the muffler and tighten the clamps. It shouldn't hit the diffuser at all.

Hi,
I got a set of these (horizontal center dual exhaust) last year. I REALLY love them and consider them the best upgrade. The quality is just incredible and looks MUCH better than the stock "pipe"/tin can tips. I'm hoping it will last a while because I'm afraid Solo will not make them anymore say in 20-30 years. :-) It's a summer car...

Only complaint.... and maybe it's not much. But the diffuser/rear fascia that Norm makes for these exhaust... the top and side edges are not formed correctly, or rounded or something... it's not a nice clean fit. Maybe it's only the one I have.

If someone has a yellow or lighter color diffuser. Would you mind taking some pics of the seams? I'd be curious if it was just mine that was line this.

Wspohn, when you changed your exhaust, did you revert to the single pipe, small muffler and single outlet?  If you did , did you go out the side or centre?

Pictures if you have them please.

No, I tried a street race system on my GXP with added small diameter silencers from Solo welded in.  No go on a coupe, unfortunately as there is a drone problem with them, so I just went for a Mach system which has been fine.

Having a GXP I had the dual outlets and didn't want to change the stock rear fascia, so the dual exit system suited me.

Hello not sure where your fitment problem is, but you have to push up the facia against the stock bumper while putting the clip on tight on the back side. This will take up the slack or gap[ if you have one. This facia Ive not had any problems with fitting that cant be resolved with a little fidigting. Thanks Norm

Hi Norm,
Thanks for the pictures. Those seem to fit much better than mine. Mine almost doesn't seem to conform to the curves of the bumper.

I'll take a few pictures this weekend, then try pushing it up more. Then take some pictures after I do this. Hopefully that's all this is. It's minor, but has been bugging me for while.

I'll try to post these on the weekend or next week.

Here you go. I tried reseating it... maybe I'm being too fussy? Is this normal?... see the indicated spots.

There are similar gaps on the other side, and it's more noticeable if you are facing it.
