Southern Maryland Mod Meet 6 Picture Thread
« on: October 10, 2009, 09:31:54 AM »
We slept in more than expected but will be back in about 1hr.
Lots of great stuff already installed.  We show up and Lil Goat's interior is completely on the exterior, Crittermans car is shining so bright NASA sent a satellite into space to see what was going on in Lusby, The smell of Glue and Leather was drifting through the air
and for those of you who were there yesterday
You missed some Killer Lasagna
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I'm Loving my JPM stuff.  It finished off the interior exactly how I wanted and the Short Shift kit is amazing.

DDM hooked me up with some serious Bling that will help show off my other Bling and today they will be adding some additional handling mods to the Sky.

WOOT.

Still there guys!  We are leaving today and the meet was incredible...finishing up the sound deadening today in my car, along with a big revamp from JPM on the interior.  Dave and Randy from DDMWorks did an incredible job installing my retractable license plate frame in the small slit in the GXP grill.  Now it goes in and out using a remote, and won't bottom out with my lowered car.

I had a great time! Thanks to all - especially to Joe and Dee for being the host(esse) with the most(ess).

A particular callout to Bryan for helping everyone with the sound deadening installs (esp mine, of course) and Bobby for being tracer and cutter extraodinaire

And spiky-steve, your car is just sick. (Oh, and I mean that in the good way  :brnout: )

Thank you all - look forward to the next meet!  :ghug:

Holy Cow Steve
I can't believe you are still working on that.
Glad to hear it's all coming out good.

You will have to do a full review on the sound dampening.

I was only able to drop by for a brief visit Friday.  Many, many, thanks to Joe and Dee for opening their home to the ravening hordes.

Thanks to the JPM guys for whipping up the trans tunnel pad for the Daytona Coupe on the spot while I waited.  It worked great at FedEx yesterday, and got more than one admiring glance.   The DDM guys' store of knowledge and their skills were also on display while I was there, and it is awesome.

Although my time at MM6 was all too brief, its obvious that this has become a very special event.  Thanks to all members and vendors who attended.

P.S. -- Who won the raffle?

Thanks to Joe and Dee for excellent hospitality again. Excellent grits Goat! Oh......almost forgot...the coilovers are better than awesome ! The car now sits a little higher than it did in the driveway at the meet.......go figure.
Sorry about leaving early, but I had to work early Sun. Did the Tiki run happen? I left in the rain and drove into nice weather.

FOR ANYONE CONTEMPLATING COILOVERS: Just do it ! Raid the college fund, the vacation fund, or the rainy day fund......but get them. What a difference !  OK. Rant over.

It's a shame we had to leave on saturday because there was a Mini Tiki bar with some wicked drinks in the Kitchen, complete with a pourable Jane Mansfield.

What an awesome event!  Thank you to Joe for making this possible and Dee for putting up with it.  I had a truly super time.  Thank you Spiky (or should I say Spicy) for handling my Solo order on such notice and a special thank you to Joe for installing it.  I could not have asked for more and I love the burble!  And thank you to Dave and Randy from DDM for the items I ordered in advance and for the last minute goodies...  I'm in heaven. :woohoo:

Okay... Now that the mod meet is under way it's time to get with the program.  :D You DO realize of course that... :ttiwwp::rofl:
Here's a few pictures to get things going.  I had trouble posting directly so I've linked instead; I hope this is OK.
