Photobucket Links Don't Work

Problem:  All photobucket links and in line pix are dead.  They all used to work, but now you cannot put an in line link to a Photobucket image.  Why?

Did you check the FAQ with Photobucket?  Sometimes these sites shut off 3rd party sites for viewing and no longer allow linking.

I have also had a problem with Photobucket, but not with pictures...they took my video off for some reason a while ago.  I could never figure out why.

Provide a link to your PB site or the post with the pics.  As far as I know, there isn't any issues with PB.  I can tell you this though.  My work site and others block all images from hosting sites so I see the dreaded red "X" also

PB photos post fine on the Cap. Area Cobra Club site. . . I will post some here later.  I defintitely never can see them at work, but I am getting the "no mas" message at home.

Joe:

Here's some photos of my new Larry Casey built trailer hitch on the coupe I tried to post on another KP thread this am:

Again, these PB links work fine on other sites.

I think the KP software adds some code other than the [IMG] tags that is messing stuff up, but I am no computer whiz for sure.

Trying this --

Will have to look from home, did you get a trailer as well?  No more flipping a coin to decide which tires you are driving to the meet on :)

Yep.  Now I will not have to impose on my friends so much, or risk and wear my $$ race tires in highway driving.

I ordered the 12" tired diamond plate steel deck 40x50" Harbor Freight trailer.  SnapOn Bob posted a link to it on one of Boardkat's threads.  It is shipping via ConWay in 3 boxes.

Thumbnails of the hitch and the power steering set up I have my eye on are in this am's "What are you going to do to your car this Winter" thread.  You should be able to view them from work.  Really sweet, stout custom fabrication, but Casey insists that the weight penalty, including the insert and ball is around 25 pounds.

I looked at your code, the problem is the case of the text has to match on the front and back code.
Your front code is in all caps and the back is in lower case.  All lower case tends to work fine.  Since I can't see photobucket at work, can someone verify that the photos are displayed?

Ben, I tried using Imageshack to view your PB images and I don't think you have it set to public viewing.  It may look fine on your PC at home since you're logged into PB.

Imageshack allows uploads via URL and when I paste in your image link, I get an error "Failed to determine remote content type for transload URL"

Nope.  Same error.  I will check my PB settings.  Plus, I sent them a "help" e-mail.

Correction, this does not include the tongue and ball. That doesn't matter much anyway, as you would remove it when you get to the race. :)

From home I get the error, video or picture moved or deleted

"Page not found
But now that you're here, go ahead and search through the billions of photos, images and videos on Photobucket.

I have a trouble ticket in to PB, but their "support" so far is going around in circles.  Everything worked fine until I upgraded to "Pro" over there.  When it was free it was flawless, now that I am paying for the service, it doesn't work.  Nice, huh?
