Me too
Looks good

Yesterday I replaced my door handles with the painted Cobalt ones.
Used Loctite to try and keep the bolts where they are supposed to be.
I've gotten really fast with taking apart the door.

Critt: yes, I was waiting Aftershock to release it for Sky for more than a year. But mine is a little bit different on shape but that was my inspiration ;)

elff: thinking to paint the door handles this batch, they are easy to be painted without removing them?

I will post detailed pictures after painting. Also thinking to paint Norm's diffuser dark grey instead of black.

Kelu

I didn't paint the Chrome handles. I purchased primered Cobalt door handles and had them painted off the car.

I know what you did, I was asking you being one of the most experienced in door handles. I was looking for an advice.

It's so easy to take the handles off, that I think it would take longer to cover the car to protect it from overspray.

Also, Someone mentioned that the chrome handles don't take paint well, which is why we found the cobalt handles.

Washed it, with Rob's help!  My son Rob, from Webster Groves, Missouri (near St. Louis) has been in town since Carol's operation.  I took "Miss Red Eagle" to a service station where I get gas, and asked them if we could put her on the lift so Rob could see the underside etc.  That was cool!  Rob will get "Miss Red Eagle" when I can't drive her any longer.  He enjoyed seeing all my mods up close and personal.  In fact he has driven her every day we head to the University of Kansas Medical Center and hospital.  He loves the performance and of course the top is down until we park her.  Cheers!

I had my mechanic do the install - and it was done for free!
This means no pictures of the install, sorry.

I had issues with the stock IC and it had to be replaced under warranty, I've wanted to upgrade the IC since I got the car so with this opportunty I had them replace it (the warranty replacement unit) with the DDM.
He reported that it was a really tight fit, but it went in w/o issue - it took him just under 2 hours to replace IC+pipes.
He took no pictures during the install, sorry.
I'll be back with a review of the performance of the IC when I get a real chance to run with it.
Pity this didn't all happen last month, I just got back from the dragon where we both got a good workout!

The best part is that now I have a brand new OEM intercooler to hang onto or sell to offset the cost.
(Still need to decide which way to go with that)

How would you sell it if you had (what were the) issues with the stock IC?

Hey Ric, I thought this was the "What DID you do to your Kappa today" thread not the "what DIDN'T you do" thread

Glad you had a great time and arrived home safely

Thanks Karen, G8TR really needed a rest, so we bought him a new stablemate on Thursday. Will post pictures soon. We washed G8TR today, so I do some things with him. Actually I think I'll post one now.

I must not have been clear - the dealer did a warranty repair & ordered a new IC - I had him swap the warranty replacement unit for the DDM one. Now I have the OEM replacement sitting on a shelf. The original IC was leaky under pressure and is gone.

Beautiful!!!

G8TR - when you're getting ready for a solo exhaust on the Camaro make sure you look up XMicro - I believe he is selling them for/with solo. He has one and it sounds freakin' awesome!!!

Took mine out for a morning drive over to Florida's Westcoast !
Beautiful weather in the morning, torrential downpours on the way back through the everglades (gotta love rainy season...)

Noticed the passenger side trunk was wet after coming home and started investigating.
Turned out that the little foam cubes that should have kept the pouch in the trunk open were loose and in the drainage tubes.

Re-mounted the cubes, cleaned the drainage tubes and gave all rubber seals a glycerin treatment as TLC.
