Cleaned the interior to get rid of the winter storage dust.  Found what looks to be an excellent "off use" product for cleaning all the hard plastic parts (doors, dash etc).  The results look fantastic so far, but I won't tell you what I used until I can see how it holds up in the sun, or if it turns out to be a dust magnet.

With all the talk about the MAF Sensor cleaning I decided to do mine.  I only had Contact Cleaner available, but it's pretty much the same compound as the true MAF Cleaner.  While I was in there anyway I used some Simple Green and a few old rags and cleaned the whole engine bay as well.

And of course drove it for the last couple of days since we got up to 70 both days!!  :drive:  :)

This afternoon Hubby took the Fetish to a detail shop to have her professionally polished and waxed. He was sitting in my workplace parking lot when I got off work so I could see the Fetish squeaky clean.

I drove her home and I'll be Dammed if a bird didn't crap on the hood and windshield!  :banghead: I thought I would run out of curse words before I got Fetish home.

Hubby says I should have posted a picture of the bird craped Solstice so all of you could get a big laugh.......Ya wouldn't dare...Would ya?

I'd laugh with you not at you!

Before I gave my Explorer to my dad, I used to keep it almost as clean as the Solstice.  I went through wht you did 4 times in one day.  I pissed off a flock of birds somewhere I guess!

Put the MagnaFlow back on. MUCH better. Also trimmed some material off the CarboTech front pads to balance the brakes a bit, and THAT worked well, too.

Didn't have straight pipes. With a 100dB limit at 75', a straight pipe would get me tossed. Alex Jones was blowing well over 105 dB (I believe) and I was at 95dB with the MF system. I ran a straight pipe in Stock class and was okay because I ran a stock cat. Now I have an SP catless downpipe.

Still can't find an engine cleaner product which works without water or bathe with water after using it.

Removed my Opel GT front grille, cut the bumper part which goes behind the grille and made a mesh 2 layer mesh grille to "hide" the ugly parts which were now visible but also to allow airflow.
My GT looks really "mean" now.

Planning to remove rear badge also but I need a body shop to do that because plastic needs to be cut to get rid of that, damn Opel couldn't make that badge easily removable?  :cryin:

Drove my car to work with the top down :D Only to be hit by a Gixxer in the butt.....then have it take off.... So now I'm using the opportunity, since the body shop has to match the paint to my car's arse anyways, to paint the boomerang and maybe even order a spoiler to have painted at the same time O.o
I'll throw pics up of the incident when I get batteries for my camera.
Gotta find the good in the bad
