To make it even worse for you, he has a 2.4 so he has no use for an intercooler.
Yeah your right, and the link I provided was for the GXP rad. Werks has a rad though for the 2.4 and it's on their site.

A friend made wind restrictors himself, both from glass and from plexiglass. It took him quite a while but the result rewarded him. He thought it would be a nice idea to make some copies and sell them with a very little profit just to cover his expenses. No intention of advertising him, i think it's worth showing his very professional job....

Greased the slides on the top so it won't pinch when I put it up. Been a while since I did it and after a close inspection it appears that there is no wear in the area. That's certainly good news and everything is working well.

Installed a hide away plate (thanks again Jackl)

Before

After Up

After Down

Hmm, looks a little tilled on second glance... I may need to shim with a washer on the one side.  Also the cover (to protect the plate) is a little heavy for the spring in the Davies hide away plate, has anyone added a bigger spring?

Had some bad scratches on the hood.  :gaah:  These weren't going to come out with any amount of  :buff:.  Not sure where they came from :idk:, but my car sits outside all the time, and sometimes its several days in between drives.  Since I'm getting over another kidney stone :(, I haven't driven it in about 3 days.

The Vehicle Processing Center put some moderate scratches in it also and I've wanted to get the front facia sanded and painted for a long time anyway.  So, I took it to the Korean Chevy service center.  They work on all GM products, but this is the first Pontiac they've ever seen.  It's costing me 750,000 Won ($690.00) to have the hood and front facia re-painted.

The service center comes highly recommended from two other guys, one of which does paint restoration.  I was happy to hear through the Korean gibberish, "Pontiac Solstice" and "Saturn Sky" as well as "modification", "tune", and "Very Nice!"  The manager said that they will color match it and that they do a better job than the US.  It'll be ready in 4 days.... (Where's the damn FINGERS CROSSED smiley???)

Still wondering if WERKS ever answer emails, or if their email address is just there for looks.  in my opinion, that's just BAD business.   I had some relevant tech info to ask it's just ignored?  very unprofessional
Not to mention I'm looking to spend more money on their website!  I bought their lightweight battery kit, and can't get any tech info on that either.  :(

 I took it in the shorts today. The dealer told me my differential was "sweating", and nothing wrong with it, then charged me $108 because it is not warranty!

Does this look like sweating to you?

He said he wouldn't charge me a diagnostic fee if it starts leaking. "Just bring it back!"

I told him I would bring it back, on a tow truck with a grenades differential!

He had it on the lift all of 5 minutes, and didn't wash it like he promised when I took it in either!

Yes, I will name the dealer. Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA!

Warranty my @SS! I am at 28K miles! It will blow one day, and they will not have a chance to do a simple service and seal change! :brentil:

There is nothing wrong there, if you had a leaky diff you would see crap everywhere.

Ok Sorry, I'll edit this...

This is not the TSB diff problem. That is a lot more messy. Could be a different issue.

Thanks, the stone is floating around in my bladder somewhere, just waiting to piss it out.  I've been pain free since I mainlined some Nubain on the first day.  Good thing I have direct access to the good stuff! Man what a feeling!!!!  Sometimes it sucks being the only medical provider in town, but at least I didn't have to wait for smeone else to treat me.

As far as the car goes, I just have to wait until Tuesday when I pick it up...

Since your medicating yourself, here's a heads up...

What are the possible side effects of nalbuphine (Nubain)?

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Tell your fellow stifsim at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

weak or shallow breathing;
fast or slow heart rate;
cold, clammy skin;
confusion, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior;
severe weakness or dizziness; or
feeling like you might pass... A stone

Someone's got to keep an eye out for you
