Stared at all the salt on my car and wondered why I let it get there and how soon I can get rid of it!

Soup,
Have you used the Parrot in other vehilcles before?  I am considering that for my Silverado.  Parrot seems to get the best reviews from what I see.  Curious how you like yours when you get it hooked up and if / how it works with the top down.
I had a Parrot DriveBlue in my prev car - Audi A6.  It was the portable type that I actually pulled out of the case and wired in permanently

My rework, in progress...

It worked great.  Lasted me through about 4 different cellphone models over the years and always paired and worked without a hitch.

I'll be sure to do a write-up when I get the new one in.   I don't however, expect it to do too well with the top down.  I'll try different mic. locations but physics is physics and wind noise is wind noise  :idk:

You gotta do better than Pontiac in placing the mic.  I have no idea why they placed it at the top of the A pillar where it gets hit by the wind.  There are sheltered spots in the car.  Be interested in seeing where you put it and how it works.

I have the microphone for my Bluetooth to the right of the Tacometer.
It seems to be a pretty good spot

Got my Heated Seats installed today.  It's really not all that hard to do on our seats.  They are kind of like Leather Lego's

I dug out the 2 feet of snow that had drifted up for 75 feet in front of the shop (detached garage). I am SO glad I bought a snow blower when I moved here. With a recent knee "scope" and screwed up shoulder (rotator cuff tendinitis) it was actually pretty easy. So, I stuck the key in Streak to see if he is still alive. He is. The Goodyears are concrete, but with the bad knee and shoulder both being on the right side, he won't be driven for a while longer. But with a new SP exhaust, recently procured heavier springs, and an inbound DDM spring tower brace, I'll at least WORKING on him for a bit.

I had to take her out of hibernation. We are re-doing our kitchen and in order to remove some of the cabinets we had to go through the garage in order to get them outside :gaah:. "Precious" was in the way so we uncovered her, put tarps down and backed her out into the cold and snow. She was back inside within 5 minutes securely covered and back in the warmth. Hopefully she isn't too badly traumatized!!!  :ca2:

Careful. That was the final blow to my shoulder and knee. But at least the kitchen looks better.

El Garmin?

Background color choices are gray primer, red primer, or rust.

All I can do is glance over at mine as I walk past her to go to my winter beater. Too darn cold here and too much snow here to do much else. Can't wait till spring.  :gaah:

I walk outside, take the cover off, look around for squirrels playing with the wiring. Start G8TR up, maybe drive around the block, or down to the dealer (1 1/2 miles), top up. 25* here this morning, still only 43*, I thought I lived in Florida.  :idk:

Bob,  Everyone knows bathrooms follow kitchen remodeling, sometimes bath rooms are done 2 or 3 times before the kitchen is redone.

I am on my 3rd bathroom(s)  Well the 2 full have been done 3 times the half has only been done twice (not that it doesn't come up at least once a month) since the kitchen was done.

Just saying....

Yeah, and I don't like it! Fortunately it is supposed to be back to normal (70*) on Friday. I have lived all over the world and survived 40* below with a 90* below windchill at Plattsburgh AFB, NY back in the winter of '75. Sandi and I have children in North Dakota and we have had to make trips in the winter, just happy that I don't have to deal with it all the time.  :D
