As for what I did to my car today, I finally whipped out my Longacre digital camber/caster gauge and realigned the rear end. Pulled out the jack stands a yellow fly fishing line and did the "string" thing. For anybody knows how to align this car, the above mentioned tool is WAY cool. They run about $270 (got mine from SafeRacer - great folks, Google it). Four jack stands, some string, a metal ruler, Longacre toe plates, and four pairs of 12" smooth floor tiles with some grease, and YOU TOO can align your car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Four alignment tweaks and ALL the stuff is paid for, and you STILL own the tools. Racing in 15 hours. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ...........

Snap On Bob,

You've inspired me to learn how to do this.  I picked up the GM rear caster tool and Longacre camber gauge tool you mentioned here, and am bringing it to Joe's MM7.   We plan to do some alignments at the meet.  Could you kindly write up some more detailed procedures or point us to something on the web that you may know of?  Thanks!

Today hubby is taking the Fetish to the dealership so they can figue out why the flippin passenger seat drives me crazy when no one is sitting in it.

When traveling on a gravel road that seat jumps around and the noise gets on one of my last nerves. Anyone else have this issue?

I have been in contact with WindRestrictor and am working on a design.

Also I plan on purchasing a ProBeam in the near future.

Joey, you'll have to check out Marlboro Mike's decals on his Sky if you go to Canton. They look good.

Latch the seat belt and see if that helps.  It tends to vibrate against the side.

Spartan, post in the mid east section and start a thread about it.  SOB will respond.

Today the Fetish went to the dealership for the passenger seat rattle. The round knob on the side of the seat was adjusted...no more rattle! Duhhhhh. Wish I'd figured that one out!

Spoke with Stephen Of WR and ordered a windscreen. I am excited to see what design Stephen creates! Have any of you the windscreen with the glass appeal?

Ordered ProBeam from DDM today also! Now I'm gonna have to eat PB sandwitches for a month...

Today I spent some money and bought a ASAP Graphics package in forest "envious" green from tip to tail. Should see it in about two weeks.  I then proceeded to get a set of Kappasphere springs on the classifieds...

Nothing like dropping $700 in less than a month, with another $2000 planned for the next month.  EEEK!!!

Once all my "packages": stripes, WR, Springs, DDM BB, DDM PB, SOLO stuff get here, boy will I have a lot of work to do. I guess most of the "underbody" work will have to wait for the Meet Mod in MD. That was it gets installed properly... LOL!!!

    DROVE IT!!!!

I cannot believe this, but the weather here has been above just above freezing (during the day) for a couple of weeks now.  It was +5C (41F) yesterday when I finished work so I had a quick cruise around in the truck to see if the roads were dry, and they were!

I went home, checked the fluids, set the tire pressures, removed the battery tender and fired her up.  Drove for about 30 kms with the top UP, thinking the whole time..."it's so sunny, maybe I could drop the top".    :idk:

Man that felt good!  :D   I LOVE GLOBAL WARMING!

Ya know, this gets me every time.  I see "Billet Engine Covers" and I think "Cool! an engine camshaft cover made of aluminum!".  Then I realize they are really just filler cap covers and all the air goes out of me.  Jeez, I wish they'd call a spade a spade.

Worked a 1/2 day today,So I installed my I/C Pipes and T-clamps . The Passenger side went on No Problem . Except the Clamp on the front had some type of Pinch clip connected to the Hose and I couldn't get it off. T drivers side got it on and had to take it off and retap the whole for the 1/4 in hose fitting then put it back together. What an afternoon.      :gaah:      :yay:  thats done Saturday gonna finish my mirror

I know what you mean. Between my mods from DDM, JPM, and now Digital Guard Dawg, and a few other odds and ends like LEDs, emblems, and a spare headlight to experiment on, i have now exceeded $4000 on mods in the past 30 days. I am still planning a custom front bumper cover and DDMs stage III upgrade. I need to switch to crack as a drug habit. I think it's be cheaper...LOL!!!

This past week I finished my heated seat installs and my HID fogs and low beams.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE my heated seats (must be getting old).  HIDs - I went for the 6000k bulbs, but will be switching them out for the 5000k bulbs.

Received my LED light bars to install under the floor pans that will wash the ground with light when the doors are opened.  LED bulbs for the license plate and inside mirror.  Also working on my car pc project...
