Rotated tires on Lindsay's Mustang, did a few log runs with HP Tuners, then went sideways a few times :)

Finished my undercarriage lighting mod - did the passenger side.

Continued to work on my CarPC project - extended the cables from the passenger footwell to behind the passenger seat - USB monitor cable and audio cables.  Setup RDP access to my CarPC from my house and work PCs - I can now remotely control the CarPC from anywhere on the planet!  Setup a bluetooth wireless keyboard for the CarPC - installed some software, loaded office 2007, etc.  Setup my broadband wireless and mounted the antenna behind the headreat of the passenger side so I can see the LED from the Verizon card from the driver's seat.  Added a 500GB USB drive and loaded it with all my music, pictures and video.  Tomorrow I will setup a backup routine that starts when the car comes in 802.11 range of the house.

CarPC TODOs:

1.   Need to order USB GPS dongle
2.   Need to order 3 USB temp sensors (engine bay, outside, inside)
3.   Need to order USB ODBII reader
4.   Need to order DC to DC power converter
5.   Need to hook up my USB video camera and mount it in the cabin
6.   Need to remotely mount my USB CD/DVD reader/writer
7.   Need to install a powered USB hub
8.   Need to install a power bypass plug-in port for the computer so I can automatically switch the laptop from car DC power to AC wall power
9.   Need to get my bluetooth phone working with Centrafuse
10. Need to setup email with Centrafuse (work and personal)
11. Need to get an audio splitter input for my Blackberry Storm to tie into audio in with CarPC
12. Need to research TMPS systems for integration to Centrafuse
13. Need to troubleshoot blue screen when starting HDD based videos from within Centrafuse
14. Need to install a dash integrated dual USB port receptacle for USB-based audio/PC files for the CarPC
15. Need to rig up and mount a remote power button for laptop
16. Probably more...

(Posted remotely from my CarPC!)

Rode down to a local custom shop to see about having some vinyl wrapping done. Time to start blacking things out! I'll even put performance parts on hold to start eliminating the silver parts and toning down the chrome.

Looking at getting the front chrome bar, hood vents, windshield surround, tulip panel, and shifter housing all done. After this, the only chrome will be the door handles and fog light surrounds, and only the side vents and steering wheel button surrounds will be silver.

Also considering getting my wheels painted black.

Lindsay and I had some pre-wedding photos taken, and I managed to get him to take some of us with the car against the NYC skyline. Should take about a week to get them.

Also my Mac's HD died, but I replaced it and didn't lose any data thanks to Time Machine!

My Lindsey is about to get some new lights under the hood, a quick wash and then put her back where she belongs... in the garage.

I really hate the bad New England weather.  Sunny days next week... Hoping.    :violin:

I put 10gal. of Sunoco 100 unleaded @ 6.19 a gal. unplugged the battery to reset the tables. Since normal fuel here is only 91(if that, it smells like alkie and desil) no matter were you get it. LOve the smell of race fuel, smells like $.  Though to keep that habit may make my wallet knock.  My car hates 91 that we have here, when the temps go up it gets worse. wonder what 1/3 sunoco and  2/3rds Shell 91 would come out too?

But the car runs so much better now  ;(

Went drag racing. I sucked, could not get the car to hook up at all! I have less trouble on the street! And yes, I did drive around the water box...

My best run was a 14.8, definitely nothing to brag about. Running Falken ZE-912's, if I start drag racing more often I'll buy a pair of Mickey Thompsons.

I met another Kappa owner there, he's got his Sky Redline with the GMPP tune running 13.1's on drag radials. I told him about this forum, hopefully he shows up.

On Saturday took Miss Red Eagle to Christian Brothers Automotive and had the third oil change done.  DIC showed 15,870 miles and 35% available.  The second oil change was done at the dealer on 10/27/2008 with 9,853 miles on the odometer so it was time to get the third oil change and also had the original Goodyear Eagle F1's rotated.  Good tread left and after rotation had 7/100Th's on the front and 8/100Th's on rear and wear was even on all tires.  So, my baby is good to go and the extra smidgen of tread on the rears will give me a little more security in the turns.  See you on the road!  :usa:

I quit trying to get around the box, usually end up dragging one wheel through the water.   drive straight through, do a 1st, 2nd gear burn out, and come off the line around 2.5k with 20-25lbs of air in the rears

Today was trouble shooting... trying to clean up some loose ends.  Looks like I'll be heading to the dealer.  I'm a bit nervous to be honest, but you got to start somewhere.  Going to use the same Chevy dealer I take all our work trucks to.  He has goofed up a few times in the past and has always made darn sure to correct his mistakes with no hassels.  Perfect isn't possible, so quick correction is the next best thing.  Fingers crossed.

NOTHING!!! Because it is raining AGAIN. Did however complete the LED Mods this weekend and am anxiously waiting my Rally Package from ASAP Graphics.

We are expecting 70's most of the rest of the week (once the rain blows out).  I will take many pics of the install of Rally Stripes, noticed no sticky or DIY so some idiot has to be the first to document his mistakes...
