Same old song and dance!  Besides, silver is too easy.  Black is a PITA, but its like artwork when done right.

Drove to work today and had a Balt SS try to entice me to speed on Rt 4 as he was turning off.

No, they're just responding to the shockwave that came off my car as I was leaving.

Installed my new DashDaq today. Very nice, wife even likes it. I have alot of programming to do though to get to where 2kwik4u is. I did get it set up for boost reading today - peaking @ 10psi at the intake manifold.

Def,

$500 bucks?  For two days worth of work?  500 / 16 hrs = 31.25 per hours.  That's not bad!  Kenny, I think you should pay him.  It only needs to be done once a year.  $500 a year to have that quality finish.  Wow.  It will make the washes and cleaning in between so much easier.

Yesterday:

I conditioned the leather, washed it, claybared it, and then hit it with PBW SSR2.5, SSR1, Pro Polish, and Black Hole.

Today's Agenda:

Give it another once over with Black Hole, apply some more Leather Stuff to the interior, put a coat of EX Sealant on it, polish up the rims, and detail under the hood.
Got everything done except the rims.  I took a while with the Leather Stuff.  What I put on yesterday was already soaked into the leather, so I decided to put it on really thick by hand. By hand, I mean no pad, just squirt some in your palm and spread it around.  It evens out and soaks in nicely and richens the leather.

Left for tonight is starting on Dee's car.  I'm gonna hit a few bad spots with SSR2.5 and then the entire thing gets some Pro Polish.  If I still feel up to it, maybe I'll apply some Black Hole... Jet lag is still kicking my butt!

That is for the painted surfaces of the exterior only.  It's a national meet after all.  I'm supposed to be there to enjoy myself!

Left the Black Hole on Dee's car all night.  Got up this morning, wiped it down and applied a coat of EX Sealant.  Parked it out in the sun to cure it.

As for mine, the leather looks outstanding this morning.  There are a few spots that need so work, but otherwise I'm pleased.  That new leather is really soaking up the Leather Stuff.

Oh well, back at it.  I have to vaccuum the carpets and trunk, do the tires and rims, put another coat of EX Sealant on it and hit the glass.  I still have to wash all my buffing pads and microfibers to take to Nationals....

Def-

You got any pictures to prove you are working and not just making this stuff up?  I have a feeling you have a few empty bottles of #7 lying around, not a few bottles of SSR2.5!  Plus, I really want to see you car the way it should be, not the way I saw it in April.

Def,

You can keep the Red label for yourself, I can't stand it.  The rest of the shelf, I would love to come and give you a hand with.

In January, when you are out this way, I will be sure to have a similar shelf ready for you in case you stop by.  I will do my best to make sure they are not all empty bottles.  :)

Yep, but my care is now slick enough to slide inbetween the drops!
