Wasn't particularly hot (maybe in the 70's) but I'm guessing that was a big factor, plus I was hammering it in 4th gear... Still nice to see that the GMPP tune was actually there!  (I was worrying that something was wrong before.)
:)

I get higher boost in 4th and 5th over 3rd because there is more load on the engine.  makes sense now :)

Crashed a car show today!  Shiny, Reed, Excelsior and I took mine and Reed's cars to dinner at the Quaker State Steak & Lube in Canton and they were having a car show.  We rolled up and I popped the hood, raised the doors and lit the strobes.  People started coming over to look at it and we just walked inside and had dinner...

I was a little dissapointed thet there was no trophy in the seat when we came out!

There was... I stole it :)

I stopped by the body shop today too. Seems like all is going well, the parts have been ordered and should be arriving soon. I can't wait to have my car back!

Thanks, apparently the adjuster has done business previously with my body shop guy so told him if he needs more parts just order them, let the adjuster know and he'll come take a look after... no waiting on parts or people! Gotta love that!

WOW they have a 6.6 pound battery with 500+ CCA!  Thats amazing.  It's small enough to easily relocate into our trunks and still has enough power to start the cars!  It is only recomended for 60-110 degrees, but still, that is incredible.  As an added plus, it's made from mostly recycled metals and plastics and they claim it will outlast traditional batteries.

Has anyone tried a battery this small in a car (daily driver, not race car)?  our stock batteries must be about 40 pounds... save 33.4 pounds = 3.34 HP.

Okay - details (for us lazy guys).
1) Which model?
2) What did you use to secure it?
3) What adapters did you use to attach the OEM clamps?
4) How much did it cost to add all this lightness?

My Braile is the 15 lbs non-carbon fiber skinned. I mounted on it's side in the old battery location. I got it from Summit Racing on *bay for $159 plus shipping and Ohio tax.

Installed sequential tail lights from web electronics for $50.

Replaced a fuse for the tail lights. I have no idea why it went poof.

Oh, put the stock wheels back on (after this weekends event) and left the spacers in place. Looks better !!!

I bought my Braile thru Tirerack and it came with a tiedown. Not sure if I'll be able to use it or not, but they do make different styles for them

I was aiming for BC from UK as Yanni helped me with some info based on his experience. But BC UK put me on hold for 3 weeks already to send me the invoice so I could pay, I found this deal with KWs and I dropped the ball with BC UK instantly.

Financial crisis, lack of sales, etc, but they just can't sell, telling a customer that his invoice will be sent soon and no mail for 3 weeks that doesn't sound right for me.

So BC Racing UK ->  :bs:
