Nice! As the link doesn't work did you get the machined lip?

How far does a 50mm offset stick out anyway?
Just trying to do my part...

I caught up the owner of my Saturn Sky.  Find out he is is a composer and wrote a song specifically for the car called "Yellow Sky", plus a whole album. Very neat to have a little history on the car but I didn't expect it to be famous!  :)

I just got off the phone with Todd, his car is still rolling with Hahn Turbo now in my hands. It's been through a few hands between past between us but Hahn Turbo is aging like a nice vintage wine.

Todd's Sky was one of the first one to be installed by a customer as it was before the turbo shield was offered. Todd is not a mechanic by profession so goes to show you how user friendly Hahn Racecraft Turbosystems are instaledl 30,000 miles later.

An Audi Q7 pissed me off on the highway, generally I'm calm especially on high speeds, but Audi Q7 being the most representative for  assh0le owners in this country and this one confirmed.

Two lanes, first one full of cars running 80mph, I was in second lane behind slower (running 85-95mph) cars to overcome those from first lane when this Audi came close to my rear bumper flashing even I had 3 cars in front of me and no space to get into the first lane.
After all the cars in front of me cleared second line, I dropped it into 4th and pushed it, Audi tried to follow and stay in my rear bumper, after I put like 50 yards between us I went to first lane and wait for him to get next to me and pushed it again even he was coming with higher speeds I made him to look like a moron after putting over 20 yards between us even he was launched when I start to push my car. At the pay booth his girlfriend turned completely to look at my car: PRICELESS

Kelu,

The only way that story ends properly is if she gets out of the Q7 at the pay booth and gets in your car.  That is the best ending to the story.  Just don't tell your GF it happened, she will take your car away :)

If she decided to go with that kind of man, I would let her stay with him, there are plenty of fish in the pond  ;) besides that my passenger seat was already taken, this is the thing which my gf shouldn't find out

We finally got Kelu to join the KP Drift Team
 :yay:

Did a little post Body Shop work on the Sky.  New Blacked Out Emblem and Norm's Fascia installed on Lucy

This picture illustrates how beneficial my Vertical doors are.  Please note the close proximity of the shelves and work bench.
It also shows how good the camera is on the iPhone4 and that my tips really need some de-carbon work.

I started by having some Lady hit the car behind me
Then that car hit mine.
That cracked the rear bumper, so I had that replaced and while it was in the body shop I asked them to paint the replacement Emblem GM Black.

They left the emblem off the car for me so I was able to cut out some carbon fiber vinyl to overlay the red then I just stuck it on myself.

Where do I start:

Friday:
my interior lights stopped working.  Check the fuse (#27) no such luck it is good.  Lifting the drivers door I see a flicker in the lights, figure it must be a bad ground, so that is the next step tracing all the wires, both doors, both foot wells and the mirror lights and finding the loose wire.

Sunday:
Met up with Chuck and Nancy and we took a ride through the Maryland countryside deciding which farms and waterfront property we would buy when we hit the lottery.  Met up with Joe, Dee, and John (hyperviper) in North Beach and had some lunch.  Later as I went to open my door the drivers door handle pulled out.  Fairly certain it is broken, so I will stop by the hardware store on the way home today and get some JBWeld.

Today:
Took the truck, since my door handle is broken and promply got a "service Engine soon" light, Nissan's version of a check engine light.  It is a solid light which means it is emmissions related.  with any luck (which I don't seem to be having) it will be the gas cap was on wrong.  I will find out when I get home and hook up my code reader to it.

I'll be replacing my vinyl wrapped handles with my painted ones this weekend.
Do you want me to send you one of my old ones?

Kenny - yes it was
Elff -  I ordered a new one from Crate Depot, after having to pry all the sound deadning off the door so I could get at this one.

UPDATE:
Looks like the light problem is in my left door as I have that panel off and those lights disconnected.  All the other lights are now working.

Door handle is still broke, but the old one is out waiting for the new one to come in and I only have one piece I don't know where it goes :(

Looks like it might have been the gas cap, the retention lanard was up under the edge.  Took it off and put it back on, cleared the code and so far so good.

Two great things happen lately:
1) Chewed the passenger wheel well, i think i scratched under and detached the under bolts and because of the well wasn't attached anymore and because of high speed on highway the well pushed on the tire and got chewed. 180$ at opel dealership

2) Tried to climb a curb backing because no parking space at my job and realized I'm scratching the rear fascia diffuser, when I moved the car forward I succeed to crack it. Waiting some quotes for get it fixed.

Way to go Kelu, this way no more upgrades for you because you have to pay for fixes!

Guys, how much is a wheel well there? I would prefer to give my money to US seller than to my Opel dealership. I know shipping will be huge because that piece is big and takes a lot of space but it will be faster than 3-4 weeks as Opel delivered it previous time.
