Took mine out for a morning drive over to Florida's Westcoast !
Beautiful weather in the morning, torrential downpours on the way back through the everglades (gotta love rainy season...)

Noticed the passenger side trunk was wet after coming home and started investigating.
Turned out that the little foam cubes that should have kept the pouch in the trunk open were loose and in the drainage tubes.

Re-mounted the cubes, cleaned the drainage tubes and gave all rubber seals a glycerin treatment as TLC.

Welcome to the forum toddi_1973!  Thanks for your post, brings back memories of when we used to hang out in Florida.  What a sweet place to drive a Kappa on Florida's west coast!  Awesome drive and beautiful scenic views.  I believe God liked the state of Florida a lot, as it is as scenic as any state in the USA!

Got some pictures of my recent work
Here is how I JBwelded the new painted door handles

I also had some time to work on my rear fascia.  Turns out 2 of the tabs were slightly thicker than the slots they needed to go in.
[The 2 above the reverse light]
5 minutes of really careful dremel work and it fits like a glove.  I really wish I could look at the original bumper vs the accident replacement bumper
I wonder if the slots are the same.
End result looks awesome

Vinyl carbon fiber from ebay. It's vinyl and with spray on adhesive stretches to the shifter console well. $20 for two feet length.

Looks nice.
Is that vinyl feeling like a cloth (stretching without heating it?) and not like a plastic standard vinyl?

It's textured vinyl with cloth backing. No heat just used my fingers and did it in sections allow it to dry before moving on to another. The stuff I used in the link below is not as flashy to shiny as some CF and at first didn't think I'd like it. But the appearance matches well with the muted charcoal of the Sky.

Search for "carbon fiber roll vinyl"

Stuff I bought:

I like how it is more subtle than normal carbon fiber. Makes it look like the car came that way

Just received my rear brake pads. EBC redstuff. paid 70 euros, approx. $95 including shipping cost from UK.
will put them on in the next yearly service, in one month.
they are supposed to be far better than the stock, and surely are cheaper than buy the OEM from the dealer.

EBC is one of the brands I've considered, though I was looking at the yellowstuff compound. Let us know what you think of them.

U-238, unfortunately i couldn t find yellowstuff for the rear on ebay, only for the front. on the front i have the ferodo pads that came along with my bigger caliper-discs.
will let you know when i place them, but the feedback from GT buddies here in Greece is a totally positive improvement.
yellow will be even better i suppose

Well not today, a couple days ago. I ran the GXP out of gas,(RED FACE). The trip meter said I had 47 mile of fuel left at 28.5 mpg. Well I ran out at 43 miles at 28.7 mpg. So I walked 1\4mile to the gas station, buy 2gal. can & gas. Walked back to the car, put 2 gal. in & drove back to the gas station & put another 12.5 gal. of gas to fill. That 14.5 gal. I thought the tank held 13.9 gal.  :idk: Looks like the gas pick-up, suck almost every drop from are tank. 2gal, turned the low fuel light off, but when I get to the gas station a 1\4 mile later, it came back on. So it's safe to say when the light come on. You have only 2 gal. of fuel usable fuel left.

When I didn't make to the gas station, I just   & said to myself, the data said I should of had enough gas, but it looks like the data was corrupted  :banghead:  :violin:

I was greeted with some check engine lights today p0106, p0107, p0300, p0301, p0302, p0303 and p0304, it was misfiring pretty badly the whole way home. The 0v reading from my map sensor was my first hint, swapped another one in and same thing, turns out my half assed soldering job didn't hold up at all. So i replaced one of the wires on the map to see if the reading came back and sure enough it did, took it for a quick boot and all was well... for now. Tomorrow i got some autocross so we'll see if that was the problem.

Not today but last week I was at DDMWorks. Powder Coat Pipes with Billet caps to match and Vertical Doors installed. Dave and his crew did a wonderful job and the pictures do not do justice to the quality of work they do.
