Beautiful wood work Scott!  You could build a Morgan from scratch and throw an ecotec in it.

Your donor should be very pleased with the finished product, even if it took a while.

Now you're talking.  One of my all-time favorite (favourite) aircraft.  Made out of milk byproducts (casein glue) and balsa wood (well, not really, but you get the picture!).  Sooo fast, sooo cool.

Today my parents, my brother and a friend of his came over and we installed new "insulated" garage doors so Silver Lining is nice and toasty in the winter. AND since they're insulated, I get a tax credit  :D

Installed a Norm's rear facia on my Redline that has been sitting in the attic since the Canton Nationals.  It was a silent auction item that Norm provided.  Thanks Norm!

It started raining so I did not get a photo yet.

Critter, seriously, quit complaining.  Here is how the math works out:
Bought the truck.  Paid cash.  After 5 years of depreciation, the truck costs you nothing.  Two years later you spend 2200 to fix it.  2200 / 24 months = 91.67 per month.  By paying cash up front, you saved that much in financing costs.  Not to mention you could never buy a 5 year old truck and pay less than a hundred bucks a month.

I tell you what, I'll give you the $2200, you give me the truck and the pink slip.

Wa wa wa wa wa... at least your truck doesn't look like SHiNY's car right now.

:sorry: but   :agree:  You hit the nail on the head except the truck was financed and paid off in 05, and this is the first maintence other than oil tires and brakes.  Oh and I had the drive belts replaced 4 weeks ago.  Your figures are close but you need to devide by 8 - that is how long I have had it.  :)
Add the drive belts
Add the rims and winter tires
add oil changes and filters
That works out to around 525 a year or 43 and change a month.   :poke:
And I am serious, it didn't owe me a thing at that point.  Now it owes me a few more trouble free years.

I have way over that in the Solstice   :worms:

I just added insulation to my doors about 2 weeks ago.  It does make a difference!

Just a tip, I have the Conti DWS's on mine.  These tires need pressure!  I have mine at 35psi all round.  If I leave it too long and the pressures drop, the difference is very noticable (as is the squeal :( )

When I first had mine put on, they were at 35psi and the back end would break loose easily when giving it a little gas while turning. It was worse than the OEM's.  I dropped them down the car's recommended 29psi and they stuck a whole lot better!
