Then cried when we looked at Morfious' hit and run damage...

I dropped my Sky off at the body shop yesterday.
The rear bumper is getting re-aligned. It was sitting better but not perfect after the accident repair.
I am also having them paint my grill and fog light surrounds black [I removed the vinyl], repairing the front bumper from a bunch of scrapes
and I am shipping out the fog lights to have them tinted to match the rear tail lights.

I drove it today, because I had to take the truck back, I'm getting the same code P0440 I just paid over 2k to get repair a week ago.

Dropped it off at the body shop to get the drivers side fixed up. Also dropped off the cobalt door handles to get painted and installed at the same time.

Didn't you do soundproofing in your car? Are they going to be able to get at the handle (on the other side) and will they (have to) replace the sound material on the new door?

Morfious is in GA for a few days. I asked him and he said he has the dynamat installed not the sound deadening stuff. He will probably install that at the next mod meet. He should have his car back by Wednesday of next week

I recently had my front bumper repaired and repainted. The black is all painted now. No More Vinyl. The bottom of the bumper has a slightly different paint that is flexible and more resistant to rocks and scrapes. I also had my fog lights tinted. I also installed my new Windrestrictor.

So before I get this

The new Windrestrictor. I had the hood open and the DDM trunk lights are ridiculously bright As such, I had trouble eliminating some glare, but trust me, the line work and detail is amazing. You can see that in the reflection.

I have 2 other minor installs I need to do, and I have to order a part for the last of my under hood powdercoating project.

A few days ago I drained my transmission fluid and put in Royal Purple. That smoothed out my shifts to a good degree. I used to have a rough time shifting from 1st to 2nd at 3k rpm. That's became a thing of the past. Shifting into first also became easier. The overall difference was noticeable, but nothing earth shattering.

Today I drained the diff and put in Royal Purple. Man what a difference! This is a fantastic product!!! I would frequently get a grinding noise when letting of the gas while in gear. That's been cured. Somehow, my shifting seems to feel even smoother now, and driving feels lighter. Everything is as smooth as butter on hot cakes. I haven't had shifting feel so effortless since driving a Miata.

If you still have the factory fluids in your tranny and diff, I highly recommend draining it and putting in Royal Purple. Having it in both the tranny and diff have made a world of difference. I'll be taking scenic routes more often from now on.

I assume you have a manual trans?
