Replaced all the lug bolts with ARP for the wheels. The oem bolts strip out easily with frequent wheel changes @ track. Also ungraded to Hawk HPS brake pads and Motul brake fluid. I am also getting ready to install oil temp and oil pressure gauges in a DDM window column pod. Also have a DDM oil catch can to install. I have a battery kill switch mounted where the DDM catch can is suppose to go. Might move switch or move the DDM catch can to a alien location

I'd try somewhere by the intercooler or wheel well in the front if you can. By the battery & turbo seems like it would be warmer there than near the front of the car, and the OCC is supposed to be condensing oil vapour.

Failed to do starter-clutch interlock bypass mod :(

The Kappa uses the same "rotary" switch that the Corvette does.  I have no idea how to bypass such thing.

Wire, wedge or glue it in the engaged position if you are just trying to disable it. Or were you intending to hide a switch inline to use as a theft deterrent?

3. Took it off jackstands.
4. Pulled it out of long-term storage.
5. Drove it to Joe's Garage.
6. Installed DDM intercooler.
7. Installed GMPP performance air intake.
8. Installed DDM powder coated valve cover.
9. Installed DDM powder coated coil cover.
10. Re-located power steering resivoir.
11. Installed LV front chassis brace.

The fun installs start tomorrow!

just received the DDM OCC today!!!

now i need to find a fuel diconnecting tool....
it seems like a very easyy installation if you have the tool

If it's an issue of not being able to find one, you could probably make your own... just need a piece of pipe of the correct diameter, about 5-or-so cm. long.  Then cut in half length-ways.  In the US we have 1/2-inch (inside diameter) CPVC (plastic) plumbing pipe which I think would do the trick, you could probably find something similar.  You just 're-assemble' the two halves around the tube and push in to the connector to disengage the clips.

I was going to try this method, but then I found the actual tool for $5 at a local parts store, so didn't need to. :)

Too busy working to take pics! LOL!!!

Today will be changing the brake pads, rotors, lines and fluid, adding the DDM Cross-Bay Brace, and putting the front spoiler back on (easier while the wheels are off while doing the brakes). 

After all that, I can start detailing it. Since it was clean and covered prior to storage, all it needs is to be wiped down, a coat or two of Black Hole, and a couple of layers of EX Sealant. The interior, which smell awsome by the way, needs some serious Leather Stuff attention. 

Your gonna have to wait in line to be detailed, I have to do some work on Dee's car (removing some scratches on the hood from a frisbee). Oh, and I'm sure Critter is going to try to squeeze his in without me noticing, like something that dirty would go un-noticed!!!

That is exactly what I was thinking. On a silver car we are lucky in that the paint matches, unlike every other color!

Then again, personal preference!

Edit: Upon closer look, his car might be the darker silver, in which case no match!

Speaking of Color Matching
My windshield is not painted, it's wrapped in Vinyl and it's amazing at how close the color is. 
That's just an FYI for any of the other people with the best color kappa

My car is Sly....so the silver windshield color HAD to go...it was the only thing screwing up my color scheme.

next is handles painted body color or black (what do you guys think?)
and paint the chrome on my rims body color...then I'm done!   ahahaha...yeah right!

IIRC there are black door handles available for the Cobalt. You don't have to paint them.

By "sly" do you mean not silver like mine?
