Now that you're checked into your new command, are they upset you're sending your car without talking to them first?

Awsome Mike, your car is making it out to korea much earlier than we thought.  Now you can rip the streets in korea.

The streets are already ripped up here.  Winter was not friendly to the roads in this part of the world.  I'm not going to be able to lower it quite as much as it was either...

On those roads you would be better off with a chain drive 70's Honda 600 2 stroke. The car not the bike.

Make sure you wear your kevlar when you tell them you have shipped the car.

And of course we will have to have pictures of you and the car on the economy!

It's kind of a shame that you don't have a SKY.
You could have shown them what they ALMOST were able to buy as a Daewoo.
Although, some car enthusiasts will probably know they are both kappa's

Roads in PA did not fair well this winter either.  My street is torn up.  Initially I thought my coilovers had tanked.
Then I looked at the road.

Great Choice of Tires Spike!!

I really don't care what they think.  It'll be here and they'll have to deal with it.  Its written into my orders afterall!  Besides, I currently fall under 3D MLG out of Okinawa so I technically don't work for anyone here in Korea.

The Marine Corps is turning this place from a expeditionary camp into a permenant duty station.  They already have most of the junior personnel on 2-year orders here.  I could have gotten 3-year accompanied orders here if I had dependents.  That would mean I was would have to live off base on the economy.  They aren't quite set up to do that.  There aren't any DOD schools within 1.5 hours and medical care would have to be provided by Korean hospitals...

What's with all the bondo on the hood?

Not bondo....primer
There was a small dent cause from a Suicide Bomber Rock that nailed my hood....popped it out, a bit of bondo, then the pic was took after the primer had been sanded and ready for color

Got back from the dealer for the last of my 'free oil changes' from the GM/Pontiac coupon.  Only the third I managed to get in (out of 4) but the coupon expires at the end of the month, so I won't make the 4th.

Apparently the dealer business is picking up again.  Used to be I'd call for an appointment but they'd say "just come in anytime".  This time (of course) I didn't call.  When I got there I had to listen to the 'trouble and strife' of they were busy and I should've asked for an appointment!
:gaah:
They said they hadn't been telling people to just drop in for the last 5-6 months.  They took me anyway and I was back out in an hour or so, so no worries. (King GMC, Gaithersburg)

What do you think of them for warranty work? Not too far from me in Vienna, VA.
