Bummer. Hope you get a break in the work and a break in the weather.

I took the day off yesterday to enjoy the ONE forecast day of warm and sunny weather to enjoy it with my daughter.

If I take leave I lose my overtime pay. So, I just tough it out.

On the bright side I was able to drop the top on the way into work today.

Good for you. I started to drop my top but didn't. Good choice on my part, because it started to sprinkle on my way into work. But it was sunny for lunch which was good enough.

Yeah, there had been 8, then yesterday they found the remains of possibly two more for a total of 10.

Yep, the crazy part is that beach is where we do cruise ins early Sunday mornings. The cops have been out in full force ticketing everyone for no front plate or any other infraction they can come up with. I think they're making a database of people that hang out in the area.

Drove my car for the first time this year. Side ways out of the subdivision ... cold Hankook V12 tires and DDM's Stage 3 instant power ... I need to take it slow! Took her on the QEW highway for a boot and grabbed a coffee at Tim Horton's on my way back to were I have been storing and working on my car. Re-torqued the wheels to 100 lbs. The backs didn't move a bit, all the lugs on the fronts took some twisting. We need some rain to clean the salt and sand from the roads. It was fun to have the Yellow _astard back on the road!

Break those tires in properly so you don't break your kappa.

Bob,
Please install the springs, throwing them will just dent the hood.

I just caught up on NY.  It's like an episode of Bones.  They need Temperance Brennan to solve the case.

I waved at her sitting in the driveway shivering under a soaking wet cover, as I climbed into my truck and drove off to work.  Tomorrow is going to be dry, we will be together again.

Received two pair of Door Shox (ding guards), put one in the vert, and tried to put the other set in the hatch of the coupe.  Found out the hatch wouldn't pop open because...the battery was dead , so I put my old trickle charger on it that I should of done when I parked it last season  :slap:

^^^ That's a bummer.

Drove mine into work even if it is raining. It's nice and dry in the garage.

Weather is great, birds are chirping, sun is out, blue sky's, the top is coming down, spring has finally sprung, going to check the oil, head to the gym and work out and park Miss Red Eagle where I can look out on her as the workout goes forward.  I have not driven her since last spring, winter is definitely a no go here in Kansas, as the winters are old time with loads of snow.  Since taking delivery on 12-27-2006 I have grown to dislike winter with a passion.  I am out... :drag: :brnout:  :usa:

I feel the same way Ron. My wife Denise (coincidentally the same name as the car) hates winter. I used to say that although I didn't hate winter, it's what made us Canadians and the change of seasons was part of what we are.

Now I know that I was full of S**T. Since I got the car I absolutely HATE the change of seasons and if it were to stay warm and sunny all year 'round I would be the happiest man alive.

I'm moving somewhere warm for the winter when I retire. I miss my GXP. The good news is that in a few weeks she'll be back home and I can give her a big  :ghug:.
Just trying to do my part...

Ah, fond memories for sure GJ!  Your post reminded me of when we lived in Arizona where we were blessed to have top down weather year round but at the time did not own a roadster!  Go figure!!! Timing is everything in life!

On the weekend I did an oil&filter change, gave it a wash, installed some asapgraphics lamp grills, and took it out for a night run with the top down. On Sunday I installed a garage door opener for my second garage bay, so I can exit/enter the bat-cave quickly.

I got to say it's been nice just keeping it parked with the top down in the garage, and just jumping in for a ride and taking off!
