The stock rail, we removed the stock piece by drilling through the rivets (bolts can be used to put it back to stock), I have placed it over to show where it would be stock.

:) :) :)

This install is totally doable by anyone now that they see the steps. But the expertise of figuring this out was worth the money. If anyone uses this method, please pay pal me a donation :)

Here is a diagram of the passenger seat parts.

The parts that I need (and anyone who wants to build this setup themselves) are 12, 13, 14, 16

All done! (well the one side of course)

The seat sits LOW. It feels great apart from the pedals. Very strange feel. But I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I'm betting the angle his legs and the pedal position, he is used to being higher in the saddle

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner. The pedals were already too close to the floor, now with the angle changed, it's even worse. I need the brake pedal to be higher off the floor so I can use a gas pedal such as this to do heel toe.

So Lindsay just sat in the seats and couldn't see over the dash.

I'm a hair under 5'11" so if you are short, beware of this install method.

Some padding on the Kirkey should fix that right up. Worth it instead of trying to do something funky with the rear mount.

So I had an airbag light on the dash, figured it was because the seat wiring harnesses were not hooked up to anything. Turns out it is just caused by the passenger sensor not being plugged in. So I can just move that to the Kirkey and be set. It's a really easy swap.

I have the Schroth 6 pt harness installed in my car with the twist center release. It is is very fast to get out of and cannot be the reason for it not being legal. I suspect that maybe a rescuer may not know that you twist it instead of push it.  The shoulder straps are designed to attach to a roll bar at about nipple level.  I modified my stock seat. Please look at my pictures in Gallery which shows the rear harness mounts.

This install is taking forever. The tunnel is bigger on the right side so the seat was rubbing a bit. Also the nuts that are welded into the tracks and receive the seat belt bolts had no threads. All these little things are adding a lot of time... and $$$$$$$ ughhhhhh
