They are real. I have seen them. There weren't many of them though, and only for the Solstice. There was never one produced for the Sky.

The local Pontiac dealer (before it closed) was selling a Solstice with one of those tops a couple years ago. I was sorely tempted but held out for the coupe.

I'd love to get one of those.  I'd get an older GXP put that on and park it next to the wife's coupe.  We would have one of the more interesting Solstice garages around.    Does anyone know of any other companies that make a similar top?

I saw one at the 2nd nationals, it was ok but needed refinement.  The window on one side was a larger than the other and there were visible seams the roof.  There was someone on the Solstice Forum from Virginia trying to sell theirs last year.

The one that I saw was very finished. The 2nd National would have been about the right timeframe for one of the early prototypes to be out.
The guy from Virginia sold his in a forum auction. I think somebody in Michigan bought it.

you're right ... smoothline only did the hardtop .. nothing like the Edag top.
