I dig the Lorinser LM6, but good luck finding any that are the right bolt pattern. All I can find are 5x112 b/c Lorinser is a Mercedes tuner. The only hope is that the Breckland Beira (which was built on a Kappa) has them (or clones of them) mounted up.

I love those too, found out who makes the clone, but never found where to get them. Seem to be popular with the Jetta boys.

I really like these from Dubs, but the smallest they come in is a 19X10. I wanted to stay with 18's but I may switch for these...

These, from Forte Wheels, are running a strong second. Maybe first considering they're $765 less per wheel and come in 18X8's:

The wire wheel clear the calipers? But they do have that classic look, i think they would look great. weight is going to be alot but for me the cleaning would be just to much work these days, thats alot of spokes to clean and they would get very dirty if had them since i am not one to clean the car every week.

You have to remember that wire wheels need to be trued periodically. Try finding a shop that knows how to do that and is willing to do it, won't be cheep. You probably won't enjoy doing it yourself and after you do it you will wonder why you went with wire wheels in the first place. I think wire wheels also have to use inner tubes because of the way the spokes mount to the tire section which can lead to a flat tire. Maybe modern designs don't need the inner tube but it is something to think about.

For those that don't know "truing" is when you adjust the spoke tension to make the section of the wheel the tire mounts on run parallel to the hub. If the wheel is not true the tire will look like it wobbles as it turns and getting the tires balanced will be a problem.

True, traditional wire wheels do require maintenance.

The ones made by Dayton, howevere have stainless steel spokes, are much stronger than old style, and have a sealed centre well so mount tubeless.

The weight is going to be higher with the wires, I grant you, but for those that like the look morethan they care about an extra pound or two, it might be a way to go. I'd love to see a pic of a Solstice with some 18 x 8 wires on it......

Yeah, after a lot of looking, those are the ones I went with.

Although, I might just go to Advance and get me some of those plastic hub cab spinners!
