New Forum Banner

In case you haven't noticed!!!  Look at the new banner on top,  Many thanks to Chiss (Sly Bob's son) for creating it for us.  Fantastic job.  There is a set of gauges in the background, a ruby red redline on the right and a GXP on the left with the Opel GT text in fade behind the redline.

Thanks Chris for the fantastic job. (Chiss is his forum name)

That's hot!! And I betcha he put a whole lot more than the 15 minutes I used to slap together something quick for the start up :lol:

All responsible for the new banner should be given high praise.  I love the look.  Much cleaner than the original.  I love the fresh look.

 :D Chris did work for a while to get to the final version. The hardest part when doing something like this apart from the design aspect is to find high quality images that you can use. Needed images that were sharp, that the lighting was right, that was shot from the right angle, didn't have branding on them (i.e. RedBull) and to a lesser extent, were the right colours.

The original banner image was good too. It's not as easy as you would think and Melanie, when you say that it took 15 minutes I think you are being modest.   :cool:

The colours on the site have changed as well. A little ligther and it'd be Wicked. Errrr, it is wicked but it's not Wicked... You know what I mean!  :lol:
