All electric powertrain in the Sky?
« on: March 03, 2010, 11:57:22 AM »
There is a company in Cincinnati doing electric conversions on the Sky and I would assume the Solstice as well. I seem to remember reading about this somewhere a few weeks ago but I saw it on Autoblog this morning so I thought I would put up a quick thread about it.

Pretty cool anyway. Check it out at the URL below.

It would have been nice if they showed pictures of the new powerplant & mechanical aspects of the car.

I'd rather have a Chevy Volt style system without the batteries. Gas/Diesel is still the lightest way to carry around energy, but I want the instant torque of the electric motor.

There are shots under the hood in the video that you will find on this page but they are dark and you can't make it out very well.
