Please note, both Darktech and my car are daily drivers.  I have 33,000 miles on my car and you can still see it has a mirror finish.  My car also is not garage kept.  If you can find a better product than poor boys then buy it. 

A couple of times a year I apply poor boys polish (type depends on how the car looks and I follow this with EX sealant)  I only wash the car a couple of times a month but almost daily I use spray and wipe.  I also follow each washing up with blackhole.  All are poor boys products.  I did buy some naty poorboys wax and will use after the sealant this spring.

All products are poorboys and costco microfiber towels

Another happy poorboys / Porter Cable user Here are a few results:

Combination of:
SSR1
Professional Polish
EX-P Sealant
Natty's Red wax
Spray and wipe
Wheel sealant
Spray and Rinse Wheel Cleaner
Bold and Bright Tire dressing
Trim Restorer
Polyseal (From Gary's Perfect Auto finish)  Haven't found anything else like it.
Home Made window cleaner (3 oz of denatured alcohol and 29 oz of distilled Water)



It's hard to get a mirror finish on a yellow car so I go for buttery and smooth.

good 6-8 hours.  That was my birthday present to me!!  It was the end of June so it was just a touch up.  Wash (clay the tough spots) SSR1, polish, wash, Nattys then polyseal.  I did the interior as well.  I bought some of the PWS (polish with sealant) for the in between touch ups this year, I'm anxious to see how well it works.

I tend to stay away from the dual action products like polish with sealant.  Of course, I'm pretty hard core about my detailing.   Let me know how it works though...

I have tried alot of different products, mothers,zaino,turtle,ice,meguiars,nxt, but
This is what works best for me.
and yes it is alittle pricey

My thought was that I would use it as an in-between product.  To use between full details.  It says it's pad dependant on weather you get more polish or sealant action.  I still plan to do a full detail and sealant application 2-3x per year.

I've looked at their site several time, but have never bought anything from them.  I get the feeling that they re-package and sell products, much like Gary (from the SF) was doing with PBW, but I have nothing to back that up.

Wish I had a mass spectrometer...

That's very interesting, either they sell a lot more stuff than I think or that guys has ahelluva chemistry set in his basement. Think about it, you need a pretty big factory to make any kind of quantity, and maintain consistant quaility. What usually happens is the smaller companies develop a formula then it is manufacturered in one of the big companies plant on a special run, if this was not the case everyone would have a car care product plant in there home town. I know MeGuires makes a lot of different products for small companies that put there own brand on them.
