Because the results by both tuners are pretty much identical. Kelu studies the dyno charts more than me. If Trifecta was easy power, he'd do it.

Kelu, does a lot of research but Vince has more torque than Westers plus he also has a few other things that Westers does not have.
Is to bad Arabas is not close to Kelu so they can compare what each car can do.
Kelu, could drive Arabas GT to see what it can put down.
I thought the tune for our LNF was about $300.00. Also if what Arabas wrote about using HPT is available then Kelu can certainly use this feature at no extra cost to him.

More torque is discutable, I agree that Vince has some things which Lyndon doesn't have but Lyndon has some other things which Vince doesn't have, in our case they do almost same (damn GJ you didn't do your job)

My invitation is still open to him:

Not really, it is a little more complicated than it looks, I still need Vince cable.

Do you still need to use the cable with this other tune option?.
Well the HPFP modification is one that Lyndon does not have and it definitely will help.
I do not see why Vince with all of what he knows about the LNF software,  could certainly provide a Drag race tune for folks that want it.

I still need Vince's cable.
In case of stock turbo don't think raising fuel pressure will help for more power. Never heard someone (except shabby which flows 39lbs) to reach fuel limitation with stock turbo.
I don't know either why he is not providing high hp tune with all the data available.

Confirmation that water/meth doesn't increase the octane by too much.

Full reply: http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/980748-post80.html

Quote from: DevilsOwn;980748
It depends on how much your injecting.  but the actually octane increase is very minor.
[...]
I didn't look at my last response  see if my stand point is still the same after i been doing this for afew more years.   All my competitors run around saying  it boost the octane to x octant etc.  I sat down and did the math..

if your injecting  10% of your  fuel and 1/2 of its water  116/93    5/95   Now   a properly setup system is usually going to evaporate  1/2 of the water/ methanol mixture before it hits the cylinders.    So as you can see there really is not much octane increase.

Now what you really have is a motor thats has a dramatically lower octane requirment.. This is the reason your able to increase the boost and increase the timing etc.
Now I will really like to here someone who tuned for it, maybe real facts are not confirming the math

wouldn t that help you in the 400meters run?

Arabas: that is a good idea which I had in mine some time ago. I did a research about our diff:
http://www.getrag.de/en/259
As you can see, shorter than we have (3.73) is only 3.91 which I think is used in NA kappas (please confirm). I would love to go 4.10 so I could finish in 3rd gear but moving from 3.73 to 3.91 I don't think worth the headache.

I have spare complete gearbox and diff (only internals, not the housing), after my calculations I would rather open the spare gearbox, change 3rd and 4rd gears and stiffen everything there so I will be safe in future.

I have but not locally, best mechanics/tuners are in Hungary, I didn't find strong mechanics which I can trust 100% in Bucharest  :barf2:
They have there one of the best head specialist with flow bench, engine dyno!!!, cryo treatment to stiff parts, etc

Why bother with the AY6 when you can get a T56 or TR6060 which will handle more power.

why not Kenny, TR6060 is excellent! but maybe it all comes down to what will fit with the slighest modifications to our engine and to which one can  be found at a better price.
for European driving habits and roads, a good 6 speed could be a fine solution

I know the V8's get the T56 to fit. not sure if the Aisin will fit better. I'm not sure if there is a way to find out without trying it.

Why Aisin are rated for so low torque, if those numbers are real I would blown it until now about 10 times.

LV the problem is to find a used one with LSD.
if a used one could be found at a good price, it would be a good experiment to test it on a GXP (as long as it fits plug n play)
