I'd love to go but my domestic responsibilities have to prevail.  Nice offer!  This is a tight community when an invite like this is made!  Say hi to Dave and Randy and tell them we can't wait to see the front brace.

I hope the front Brace I have designed and has been on my car now for well over a month does not compete with theirs.
I am was planning to introduce this product here in our KappaPerformance forum some time towards the end of this month.
There is no professional installation required.
There is no modifications need it, as it does not interfere with any of the parts between the front of the engine and the radiator.
It will take at most 30 minutes to install.
Also the price will be well under $100.00. It will only be offer here on this forum.

LV,

you gonna become a vendor?  First the bags, now a brace?  What's next?

Before I get myself and possible GJ in trouble here should this thread even be in the newbie section?

GJ I think you should look into making a pink cooler that is installed on a front brace, painted pink of course, and then see if you can drive DDM and LV into the poor house. ;)

Like I should really have to do this anymore but :kwh:

BS, I'm in. I'll send you a PM.

I need to get Randy to do some tweeks on my ECM for CEL codes. I talked with Dave & he is going to check with Randy to make sure he'll be there & can fit me in.
I'll have to come back Saturday evening though so I can attend the EVO driving school on Sunday.

Not really want to be a vendor GJ just want to help the Kappa community.
However if the product DDM is coming out with is similar to what I have designed, then I will step aside and let them sell theirs with no competition from me.
I designed mine after seen the Werks front Brace and how much trouble was to get it installed etc.
Maybe Dave\Randy will have a modification to their original Front Brace, I do not know.
I do not want to show a picture yet since the fabricator needs to make some final tweaks to the original.

DDM's brace goes from tower top to tower top.  There is a clearance issue on the SC for sure, and I think the Turbo has an issue as well.  once they get that sorted out, I'm sure i will get mine back.

This a shot of DDM's brace and when the engine torqued, it rubbed the top of the SC.  Cool design.

Dave did some tweaking on mine when I was there just before Nationals ... ALL is well with with the brace and my supercharger now :)

OK,
If all they are doing is refining the one Joe just showed, then I will continue with mine since it is nothing like DDM.

Latin is talking about a chassis brace, not a shock tower brace, I think they serve different purposes. I also think this discussion deserve's it's own thread to help for later reference.

Home again. At least for me anyway, They are finishing up Swartz's car as we speak.
Anyway all was good on the trip down, made in 6hrs flat. Popped my usual codes playing arround  :idk: had to keep up with BlackSunshine. Had a great steak dinner  thanks again Mike! Had a good breakfast this morning at Crackerbarrel in the parking lot & off to DDM - could have walked there from the hotel, .5 mi. down the road behind the hotel  :drive:

So I'm all good now, no more CEL & no codes coming home, you know I had to run it hard to test it  made it home in 5hrs 20min door to door  :D

Thanks again Randy & Dave for the incredible support!!!

So what you are saying is that it took you 40 minutes longer when you where running with the turbo?

Is funny that when come to tunes folks talk about Lyndon's, Trifecta etc... but the boys from DDM sure have a great tune.
Mine is for the upgraded wheel and they sure know how to get that done.

They don't even advertise that they tune. I'm sure they'd sell a lot more if they did.

Half of what they do isn't advertized Kenny.  You have to read message boards where someone spills the beans, and then ask.
