I would not be concerned about it being rebuilt. That is what you do on diesels. When I was stationed on a Navy Minesweeper, our engineman used to pay $150 for a seal & gasket kit and rebuild the turbos we had on our engines (10 in all). His rebuilds would last as long if not longer than the factory rebuilds that cost over 7000 dollars. These twin turbo v-12's produced 2000 hp @ 2000 rpm on 54 inches of boost. At normal cruise speed 1800 RPM, 23 inches of boost they consumed 50 gallons an hours per engine.
