Uplifting experience, pictures from the darkside.
« on: August 27, 2010, 12:40:01 PM »
Hi, WanderingSol here, was up on the lift yesterday for oil change and tire rotation.  They kindly let
me get underneath for some pictures.  I just took a bunch so I could look at them at my leisure later.  I have them online at

I noticed my fenders were slightly crushed too, but this happened before I bought the car.  I'm
sure it will buff out.  :-)  In the pictures with the lift arms, there is about 4" clearance between the
fender and the arm.

You can pull the fender, bang it out with a rubber mallat and reinstall.  Buffing won't help

Come on Joe, everyone knows you can buff out a 1" dent.  You just have to use poorboys

Great looking vehicle!  Awesome for later on when you need to figure out what goes where (if you're like me).  As far as the fender, yeah, might need a little more than a buff, but definitely an easier fix than a lot of other things.  That cup is always half full!  ;D

Very interesting photos of a part of the car many never get a clear look at.

Thanks for sharing.

Just took another look at the excellent pics.  There is some oil on the shock in pic #29.  May be a failing shock that you might want to get checked closer.

Thanks again!
